3. Platform Role

Tucks operates as a digital marketplace connecting users and vendors. While Tucks facilitates transactions and handles payments, vendors are solely responsible for the products they list, including their quality, accuracy, and delivery.

• Users must provide accurate and complete registration details
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
• Any activity under your account is your responsibility
• Tucks reserves the right to suspend accounts providing false information

5. Vendor Accounts & Responsibilities

5.1 Account Responsibility

• Vendors are issued secure login credentials
• All actions performed through a vendor account are the vendor’s responsibility
• Unauthorized sharing of account access is prohibited

5.2 Product Listing Standards

• All product descriptions must be accurate, clear, and not misleading
• False advertising or exaggerated claims are strictly prohibited
• Images must represent the actual product being sold

5.3 Product Quality & Accuracy

Vendors must ensure that all goods delivered match the exact description, quality, and specifications listed on the platform. Any mismatch may result in penalties or removal.

5.4 Pricing Integrity

• Prices must be fair and clearly stated
• Hidden charges are not allowed
• Intentional price manipulation is prohibited

5.5 Refund Obligations

• Refund refusal may lead to account suspension or permanent ban
• Tucks may enforce refunds where necessary

5.6 Delivery Obligations

• Vendors must deliver within the stated timeframe
• Delays must be communicated promptly
• Repeated delivery failures may result in penalties

5.7 Vendor Fees

9. Prohibited Activities

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Uploading false or deceptive product listings
• Fraudulent transactions or scams
• Attempting to bypass Tucks payment system
• Manipulating reviews, ratings, or platform data
• Engaging in illegal activities through the platform

10. Penalties & Enforcement

Tucks may enforce the following actions for violations:

• Warnings
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent account ban
• Removal of products
• Withholding of vendor funds where necessary

11. Account Suspension & Termination

Tucks reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice where serious violations occur, including fraud, repeated complaints, or abuse of the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

Tucks shall not be held liable for:

• Product defects caused by vendors
• Delivery delays outside reasonable control
• Losses arising from vendor misconduct

However, Tucks will take reasonable steps to ensure fair resolution of disputes.

13. Intellectual Property

• All platform design, branding, and systems belong to Tucks
• Vendors retain ownership of their product content
• Vendors grant Tucks the right to display and promote their listings

14. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of Tucks is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is collected and used.

15. Modifications to Terms

Tucks reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.

17. Event Hosting, Ticketing & Participation

• Users may host, promote, or attend events through the platform, subject to these Terms.
• Hosts must provide accurate event details, including date, venue, ticket price, capacity, and any special requirements.
• Hosts are responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals, permits, licenses, or permissions required for their event.
• Tucks is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or conduct of any event, venue, or attendee.
• Any cancellations, delays, refunds, or disputes related to events must be handled fairly and in good faith by the host and participants.

18. Buying, Selling & Order Conduct

• Buyers must provide accurate delivery information and make payment promptly after placing an order.
• Vendors must fulfill orders honestly, promptly, and in line with the description provided on the platform.
• Buyers should inspect product details carefully before confirming a purchase.
• Any attempt to exploit the platform through fake orders, fraudulent complaints, or unauthorized payment methods is prohibited.
• Tucks may investigate suspicious activity and suspend accounts where necessary to protect users and vendors.
• Fines may apply in violation of any rules, regulations, advice, the listed Terms and Conditions or guidelines.

19. Vendor Code of Conduct & Platform Use Guidelines

• Vendors must act professionally, respectfully, and lawfully at all times.
• Spam, misleading promotions, duplicate listings, and unfair pricing practices are not allowed.
• Vendors must not collect, misuse, or share users’ personal data without proper authorization.
• Users must not use the platform for harassment, abuse, hacking, impersonation, or any unlawful conduct.
• All users are expected to keep communications respectful and appropriate.

20. Dispute Resolution & Mediation

In the event of any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising from the use of Tucks, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith discussion and mediation.

• Both parties are expected to cooperate duly and provide all relevant information during mediation.
• Mediation may be facilitated by Tucks support or another neutral mediator agreed by both parties.
• Any party wishing to pursue legal action must first attempt mediation in good faith, unless the dispute involves urgent matters requiring immediate protection of rights.
• Where mediation fails, the dispute may then be brought before a competent court of law in accordance with applicable Nigerian law.

21. Notice, Communication & Account Updates

• Users agree to receive important communications from Tucks via email, SMS, in-app notifications, or other contact methods.
• Users must keep their account contact details current and accurate.
• Failure to respond to official notices may result in account restrictions or loss of rights under these Terms.

22. General Provisions

• If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
• Tucks may waive or delay enforcement of any provision without losing its right to enforce it later.
• These Terms constitute the full agreement between users, vendors, and Tucks regarding use of the platform.
